Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Codemore PLT ("ShipPDF", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through shippdf.com, our waitlist, and the ShipPDF application at app.shippdf.com — including when you connect an AI assistant to ShipPDF over the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Information we collect
- Waitlist details. When you submit the waitlist form we collect your email address, along with the site language and the page you signed up from.
- Usage data. Like most websites, we collect standard analytics — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device and browser — through Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address and request metadata to operate and secure the site.
- Account and workspace data. When you use the ShipPDF application we collect your account email, workspace membership, and the API tokens and connected applications you create to access ShipPDF.
- Template and document data. We process the templates you author and the data you supply to generate documents, together with the PDFs produced from them.
How we use it
- To notify you about ShipPDF's launch and send occasional product updates.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To operate, secure and protect the site against abuse.
- To provide the application: authenticate you, store your templates, and generate the documents you request.
AI assistants and MCP connectors
ShipPDF exposes a remote MCP server at mcp.shippdf.com so you can connect an AI assistant — such as Claude or ChatGPT — to your workspace. When you connect one (using OAuth or a workspace API token) the assistant acts on your behalf, limited to the permission scopes you grant, and can list and author templates and generate PDFs. ShipPDF receives and processes the requests the assistant makes and the data it sends, such as template definitions and the data bound into a document. We use this content only to provide the service — to generate your documents and operate your workspace — and never to train AI models or for advertising.
The AI assistant and its client are operated by a third party (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) under their own terms and privacy policies; what that provider does with your prompts and data is governed by those policies, not this one. Review the permissions on the consent screen before approving a connection, and revoke one at any time in Members & keys → Connected applications.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which set cookies to measure site usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the site: Cloudflare (hosting, the D1 database that stores waitlist emails, and security) and Google (Analytics and Tag Manager). We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep waitlist emails until launch and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to remove them. Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's settings. Your account data, templates and generated documents are retained for as long as your workspace exists or until you delete them; download links for generated PDFs are short-lived and expire.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or unsubscribe at any time, by emailing support@shippdf.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Changes
We may update this policy as ShipPDF develops. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
